FAQ

Are you local?
Yes, we are local. Our office is located in Northfield as well as in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey.
What is the time frame for a lift till we get back in our home?
The time frame ranges from 5 - 8 weeks depending on the scope of your project. The pre-construction phase is typically 4-6 weeks and consists of engineering and architectural plan development, elevation certificates and building permit processing. Once the on-site work starts, the actual lift and foundation work can be completed in 2-3 weeks. The reconnection of your utilities and other necessary items can be an additional 3-4 weeks.
Should we use pilings or block?
This is dictated by your soil conditions and flood zone. Wood pilings are a less expensive foundation than masonry if the foundation is being newly constructed. However, an existing masonry foundation can often be added onto and less expensive without the need to move the house in order to drive wood pilings.
How much will it cost?
The cost ranges substantially and is based on each project’s existing conditions, exterior working area and whether or not the home needs to be moved around the site. For example a slab home requires additional shoring, which adds to the cost of the raise.
Will you assist with grants and the permitting process?
Yes, we guide all of our customers through the grant process and ensure they are aware of all of the possible grant opportunities.
Are you RREM approved?
Yes, we have been approved to work on both RREM and HMGP Grant funded projects.
Do you have Cargo Insurance?
Yes, in addition to all state mandated insurance coverage we also carry Care, Custody or Control Insurance (CARGO) in the amount of $1M per home. This covers real and personal property, your home and it’s contents.
